We are constantly testing new fabrics to find the most durable sustainable options. The weave for our fabrics was selected based on thickness and tightness. And our seams are reinforced with extra material and stitching to protect the toy from even the most precise toy “surgeons".

The toughest toys are plastic. We are committed to protecting our dogs’ health and the environment, so we choose to make our toys with natural fabrics instead. As a result, we recommend you supervise your dog during play (it's more fun that way!). If you see your dog settling down to destroy the toy, take a quick break before continuing.

We recommend supervising your dog during play and removing the toy if you see them ripping it. In an unlikely event your dog swallows the herbs and spices we use, know that they are safe for dogs (and some even have beneficial properties!). Speak with your veterinarian if you notice any unusual symptoms or behaviors to rule out an allergic reaction.

Our scents are so good, you'll wish they were a candle! They are strong enough for your dog to smell from the other room, but only just perceptible to a human right up against your nose. The scent will lose potency over time.

That is completely normal. You wouldn’t want to watch the same episode of your favorite show over and over again (even if it is really good). You can start by taking out the Scent Pouch and gently crushing it between your fingers to release a fresh scent from the herbs and spices inside. If that doesn’t work, it may be time for a new Scent Pouch.

Difficulty level: easy with human fingers, nearly impossible with paws. All you have to do is open the Case, pull out and compost the old Scent Pouch, insert a fresh Scent Pouch, and close the Case.

Remove the Scent Pouch. Wash the Case in cold water with mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Unless you want a new gift for your neighborhood Chihuahua Pixie, do not put it in the dryer because both cotton and wool shrink in high temperatures.
